Boron is important to growing tissue like young shoots, roots, flower buds and fruit. It is necessary for the movement of sugars, for reproduction and for water intake by cells.
Boron deficiency symptoms first appear at the growing points. This results in: - Stunted appearance (rosetting), barren ears due to poor pollination, hollow stems, hollow fruit (hollow heart), brittle discolored leaves, loss of fruits and nuts etc.
Bhagya Boron is chelated Boron EDTA and is easily soluble in water. A foliar spray of 1gm/litre solution on crops is recommended to correct all normally occurring deficiencies. Exact dosage depends on the plant health and local soil conditions.
