Hindustan Mineral Products Co. Limited (HMP) was established in the year 1937 by a geologist with the objectives of processing different varieties of minerals and extenders at single location. It became a Choksey group company since 1973 and presently has multiplied its operations manifold with increased product range with multi-locational plants across the country, sizeable exports and increased focus on



specialty minerals. In the field of mineral processing, HMP is one of the few companies which can develop and supply ultra-fine and specialty minerals for varied applications with high service level and involving complex logistics.

Choksey group is a leading industrial house in India dealing in minerals, pigments, synthetic rubber, paints, construction chemicals, etc., having a group turnover of US dollars 25 million.

PROCESSING :

HMP services from multiple satellite processing plants located across the country with state of art machinery , advanced equipments and processing technology.

HMP also undertakes customized job to process minerals in various particle size from Regular Fine to Micro Fine to Ultra Fine.

At HMP we believe that speciality minerals have important role to play in high technology sector and will have even greater role to play in future. With this objective, HMP has developed various performance enhancing, activated, coated and wet ground minerals involving innovative processes and functional additives.

Keeping pace with changing scenario, HMP is in advanced stage of offering minerals in Nano range.
HMP keeps updated data which enables it to identify and procure minerals from right sources. Sources are standardized keeping in mind the requirements of customer and consistency in supply.

For HMP, Quality is of prime consideration. The company's processing plants as well as quality control laboratories are fully equipped with latest testing and measuring instruments including Malvern Master Sizer ( Laser Diffraction particle size analyzer )

Considerable emphasis is placed in the company on research and development activities to develop state of art technology to maintain quality edge of its products. This has enabled the company in sustaining its leading role in the industry. Its R & D centre at Mumbai is fully equipped with state of art equipments and pilot plant facilities.
