Products :
Manufacturer and Exporter of:- Mica Mineral, Mica Flakes, Mica Powder, Mica Scrap and other Micanite Products in India. Mica Scrap:- Manufacturer and exporter of mica scrap and mica flakes. Daruka Mica (Muscovite), in Scrap having following qualities: Material:The mica is muscovite ruby. Colour: Might be ruby or white Chemical Compositions: Ruby, white muscovite mica scrap (Potassium Aluminium Silicate) Purity: Minimum 97% of scrap mica in 2A & 2B. Thickness: Are in between 0.007" to 0.100" Sized: 85% of the material will be retained of screen size ? inch square or as specified by the customers. Moisture: The material having maximum 0.1% by weight as determined by heating 15 grams at 150?C for one hour. Quality: The muscovite mica scrap will be fresh, dry & free from rust, quartz, tourmaline, garnet, clay, iron oxide biotite (black mica), dust, fines, hard & dark stained. It is free from organic impurities like Wood, Paper, Straw, Plastics & Fabrics. Packing: The muscovite mica scrap is packed in poly line Jute, H.D.P. /P.P. bags: each bags minimum 50kgs. Or maximum 80kgs. Or as per customers requirements. Labeling & Marking: As per customers specification. Weight loss & Colour on firing or ignition: the muscovite mica scrap when fired to completion as per IMIM 402.7 the weight loss shall be 4-5% by weight maximum. The colour of the fired mica scrap will be like Pearly Gray (silver gray). Mica Scrap is the nomenclature given to the irregular lumps of mica as received from the mines having a area between ?" and 1 ?" sq. This type of mica is mainly exported to plants all over the world to be made into a pulp used for the manufacturing of mica paper and reconstituted mica plates. Domestically, it is used as a raw material for the manufacture of mica flakes and powder. Mica Flakes:- Specification Muscovite Ruby Natural Processed Mica Flakes Daruka Mica Natural Flakes are made out of selected Mica Scrap, Dried, Screened & Sheared. Process: First the selected mica scrap is dried to avoid any humidity. Secondly mica scrap is screened to avoid dust. Thirdly all the foreign particles like biotite (black Mica), quartz, straw, bamboo (organic & inorganic materials) are removed by hand picking. Here we again screen the material. Now the material is ready to sheared (in grinding machine). Grinded material is then directly through blower sucked & blown in a round screen which is having blower to separate dust from the grinded material & the 8 mesh screen size to bring down the 2-8mesh NATURAL MUSCOVITE RUBY MICA FLAKES. In this case, mica scrap & waste are pulverized by mechanical grinders such as high speed hammer, rod, attrition, mills or cage distintefrators which reduce them to flakes and powder of different mesh sized ranging from 2 to 300 mesh. These flakes and powder are classified into various mesh sizes with the help of sieve classifiers. Mica Powder Daruka Isolants - Manufacturer and exporter of mica powder. India is the biggest producer of muscovite sheet mica in the world. This type of mica is also called Potassium Mica and is the best variety available in the global world. It is tough, chemically inert, immune to climatic variations, non toxic, transparent and water proof. By virtue of these unique qualities, it can be reduced to very small thin particle having diameter to thickness ratio as high as 25 to 1. It can therefore, be transformed into coarse, medium & fine varieties of flakes and powder by dry process of pulverization and there by it renders itself to wide commercial application in these forms. Mica powder in various forms is obtained by grinding/breaking mica scrap, which is a slow costly & extremely complicated process, because of the scrap being tough and having plate like structure. Meticulous care & precaution has to be taken so that is no deterioration of its natural brilliance, colour and properties. General Characteristic of Dry Ground Mica Powder It is highly responsive to the action of light, heat electricity, water and other chemicals. It transmits and reflects light to produce decorative effects and also prevents penetration of "SUN" rays, moisture, heat, gases etc. on the surface on which it's coated. It produces stiffening effect of calendered sheets. It has very high lubrication value and can be used as: a) High temperature grease, mould release etc. in rubber & plastics b) Dusting surface. c) Anti Friction powder of compounds. It produce lifting effects in liquid products due to low specific gravity and as such, remain uniformly dispersed over the surface of liquid vehicles. It has excellent di-electric & thermal insulation properties. It has very little abrasive effect and can easily get wetted by resin and dyes. It has an excellent anti-sticking property and as such, during vulcanization, it prevents sticking and movement of sulphur, at the same time, it permits the air bubbles to escape.
