Xiang Yang Chemicals Group was founded in 1984, and is the biggest manufacturer and R&D center of Catalyst for Olefin Polymerization. It is located in Yingkou city, the Shengyang-Dalian Expressway runs over the city. Xiang Yang Chemicals Group mainly produces CS serials high active catalyst for PP, XY serials high active catalyst for HDPE and LLDPE, improved engineering plastic for automobile, epoxy polyester power, Ni-Hydrogen battery membrane and Polyether Polyols. The group was approved one of the whole state 66 key High & new Technology enterprises by State Science and Technology Ministry awarded in 1998. The group also is the laboratorial base of the Chinese Academy of Science and High & New-technology area of state grade. The group was approved as "National 863 planning program industrialization base" and one of the ten best private High-Technology enterprises in Liaoning province in 2001.

In 1989, the group officially associated with the Chinese Academy of Science. We developed CS-1 catalyst successfully and started industrial production in 1990. It was identified by the State Chemical Ministry and checked by the State "85 Tackle Key Problems planning programs" in 1992. Its great effect is:First, we produce high active catalyst for Propylene Polymerization by ourselves.Second, it substituted foreign productions.Third, our price is lower one times than the overseas catalyst, it reduced the production cost and saved lots of foreign exchange.Fourth, our group held own and advanced patent production, it made our company quickly development.The customers were satisfied with our production after they applied our catalyst, and some of the customers signed a long purchase agreement with our group. The CS-1 was awarded the first prize of Science improvement, state Patent production and was approved as "National Torch Planning program".
We developed CS-2 SPHERIPOL catalyst again in 1996. It was the product as the substitutes for HIMONT FT-4S catalyst, and also was the first to produce this kind of catalyst in china. Our CS serials catalyst have held most part of domestic market and fully changed the phase that the whole market was controlled by foreign catalysts. In the past years, we have saved about a hundred million and fifty million more dollar for our country. At present, our group is developing CS-3 catalyst, it gets to international advanced level. We got the state patent. Our group also passed the ISO9002 international validation in 1999. We would like to make all friends, our tenet is: Honesty is always base, go on develop new products. Our development direction always follows customer's demand. Our R & D center have long term technical support from the Chinese Academy of Science, it has all kinds of advanced test instruments and very excellent technical persons. They are power and base that our group continue to develop. Our catalysts have sold in the southeast Asia, Middle East and South America. We also are seeking more overseas agency to promote our products together.
