Maliakkal Industrial Enterprises had its humble beginning in the year 1976 at Palluruthy, located in the suburbs of Cochin City in India. It was the beginning of a saga of success and triumph for Mr. Joseph Maliakkal, the Proprietor of Maliakkal Industrial Enterprises. It was his first ever venture in business. A commerce graduate by profession, the experience gathered during the early part of his career as Plant Manager in certain leading Pharmaceutical and Chemical Industries formed the basis of his idea to venture into the world of Chemicals. In 1986 Maliakkal Industrial Enterprises started its First Branch and Sales Office at Ernakulam, in the heart of Cochin City. Thereafter in 1989, Mr. Joseph Maliakkal ventured into the Manufacturing of Domestic and Industrial Cleaning Chemicals by starting a new company named MALI-CHEM INDUSTRIES located at Aroor on the outskirts of Cochin.
